Online Growth Leads Youbet to Q1 Profit
Youbet.com, the U.S horse racing content and wagering provider, said Wednesday that total revenues amounted to US$28.4 million for the first quarter ended March 31st 2009, a 16% increase on the corresponding period last year.
Buoyed by strong growth from the company's Youbet Express online wagering service, the revenue growth helped the company to a net income of $1.2 million for the quarter compared to $0.8 million last year.
